This Is The End

Because my mom is a saint and a nice lady, she bought me a movie this weekend called, This Is The End. This movie is about six actors named, James Franco, Seth Rogen, Craig Robinson, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel, and Danny Mcbride. It starts out as Jay coming to visit his old canadian friend Seth Rogen.  They hang out at Rogen’s house for a while, but then they are invited to a party at James Franco’s new house. While at the house, blue lights shine down and carry people up to the sky! For some reason, all of the actors that are partying with Franco don’t get carried up at all. Later in the movie Jay theorizes that it may be the apocalypse and that the people being carried up by the blue lights were being a part of the Rapture. Is it true? I guess you’ll have to see the movie to find out.

Now this movie is rated R and there are some crazy scenes, so if you are offended easily you shouldn’t watch it. Although the movie is somewhat offensive, it is one of the funniest movies i have ever scene. Michael Cera also stars in this movie as himself, and he is portrayed as a way that you would never have seen before. The party at Franco’s house is filled with familiar faces and it is way to see what celebrities do at their huge, sweet housewarming parties. The movie has some good quotes in it it but I feel they are too inappropriate to share out loud.

The movie is totally unrealistic but believe it or not, it is very accurate about the Apocalypse. Because in the movie they do thing like fight demons, take on the devil himself, and there are sinkholes all over that suck people down into HELL. People are also let into Heaven depending on how they lived their life. Do the actors ever make it to heaven in the end? I guess you will just have to see the movie yourself. (;

    Mason, I haven’t heard of this movie, but I have, in the past, enjoyed the comedy styling of all of the actors who happen to be in this one.
